Question 7
What i have learnt in the progression of this product from my preliminary is that through asking your target audience what they prefer can really help you to get a good final product because it is nice to be able to refer back to it. Also i have learnt a lot of editing skills, for example the foly effect of the ringing alarm clocks. Another thing that i have learnt how to change the music level and put sounds over the top of it in order to improve the sound track. The final thing with the editing that I learnt is how to do good transitions between the scenes (e.g. when Emily and Imogen are coming down the stairs.) With the help of the preliminary and then using it in my final product i also learnt that the positioning of a camera is key to getting a good shot. Another thing that i learnt from the preliminary was how to do a good continuity shot. This then enabled me to incorporate it into my film (e.g. when Imogen is coming thought the door.) The final thing i learnt from the preliminary was how to use the 180 degree rule in order to make my opening look realistic and to help with the continuity of the seen (e.g. Imogen and Emily getting ready in there bedrooms)
